Welcome to the Southwest Michigan Floggers

The 2008 golfing season is just around the corner,
and preparations are underway for the first outing of
the SWM Floggers. If you enjoy golfing, being
outdoors, and the conversation and camaraderie that
goes with it, then we may well be your league. If
enjoying a beautiful afternoon, a decent cigar, and
the company of your friends is more important than
your handicap, you've come to the right place. At the
Fraternal League of Ordinary Golfers, we are, in
fact, a collection of ordinary golfers. It's not that
the score doesn't matter, it's a question of mind
over matter - if you don't mind, it doesn't matter.
So, if you've wanted to be a part of a league, but couldn't commit to being at each and every outing, and didn't appreciate watching your ranking drop accordingly, this is the place for you. We appreciate a finely struck ball as much as the next guy, but since it doesn't happen often, we don't keep track of season standings. You are welcome to keep score, but you start pressing for a comparison with other League members, you're liable to find yourself on the driving range shagging balls out by the 150 yard marker. Say, is that RANGE stamped backward on your forehead?
So, if this is for you, sign up using the Registration page, and join us every Monday for at least nine at one of the area courses.
See you out there!
